Dus Kahaniyaan is a Telugu movie released in 2017. It stars Ram, Ritu Varma and Sayak Bhakta Rao. Dus Kahaniyaan has been directed by Hari Shankar and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The film was released on 28 September 2017 to very positive reviews from critics and audience alike. The story of this film is about the life of four friends: Mahesh (Ritu Varma), Anbu (Sayakbhakta Rao), Peddodu (Ram) and Srividhya (Ritu). Mahesh is the only daughter of a rich business tycoon, Anbu is a struggling writer, Peddodu is a budding actor and Srividhya works as a servant in the house of Mahesh. All four are college mates.The soundtrack and background score for Dus Kahaniyaan was composed by Ram Sampath and it consists of ten songs and one theme music track. Ram Sampath has composed music for Ram Gopal Varma’s previous films like Rangeela, Company and Sarkar 3 . The lyrics were written by Ram Gopal Varma himself along with Chandrabose and Anantha Sreeram. The film received positive reviews. The DVD/Blu-ray/Video was launched by Ravi Teja along with the director, producer and the film's lead actress.The film grossed ₹1.12 crore at the domestic box office.The Times of India gave the movie 4 stars out of 5 and wrote “This is a man's film with action, drama, thrills and suspense all neatly woven into a story that grips you from beginning to end.” The New Indian Express gave it 3.5 stars out of 5 and wrote “It is an absorbing story well scripted by Ram Gopal Varma Jr who has shown quite some promise as an actor” The Hindu also gave it 3. 5 stars out of 5 and wrote “Ram Gopal Varma Jr is a natural in this film, his characters are well developed and his dialogues are smart” The film became the first Telugu movie ever to have its audio released on 2 October 2017. The audio was launched by Ram Gopal Varma along with the lead actress, Peddodu, Mahesh and Anbu. It peaked at number 1 position on iTunes India Top 10 Movies list after releasing only 48 hours.
